Why you MUST lead with desire in your business…

Getting Desire in Your Business

In his seminal book, The Science of Getting Rich, Wallace Wattles writes that Spirit is more eager for us to have what we want than we are.

(By the way, this is the book that inspired Rhonda Byrne's best-selling book and movie, The Secret!. Please read this book, if you haven’t. It provides a great foundation for the paradigm of how to do business.)

Think about that for a minute:

The Universe is more eager for us to have what we want than we are.

But, in order for the Universe, for Spirit, to support us in what we want, we have to be crystal clear about what we want.

Because the universe responds to clarity and conviction.

Here is what happens when you are NOT clear about what you want, about your desire…

If you don’t know what you want, three different things can happen:

1. You are going to manifest what someone else wants.

Yep, you’ll look around you and see another entrepreneur who seems really successful and happy and decides you want exactly what they have, even if it’s not fully aligned to you.

2. You are going to manifest what you think you can have or that someone else told you you can have.

You keep yourself small and limited with your own beliefs about what you can actually have or you listen to someone else who tells you that it’s wrong or bad to have what you really want.

3. You are going to manifest what’s in alignment with your conditioning.

When you make choices based on what you learned before the age of 7 (which become programs that run in your subconscious mind) you keep yourself limited, especially when you learned things like money is BAD, and people who have a lot of money are BAD. Guess how much money you’re going to make if you’ve got those programs running all the time in the background?

So, those all sound pretty crappy, eh? If you are doing any of those things, please stop. Because, seriously. Your business is about YOU, not about anyone else. And these three things keep you always second guessing your desire, and keeps you in this perpetual seeking mode.

Knowing your desire takes you out of perpetual seeking mode.

When you know your desire, you no longer have to discover what you want because cultivating your desire becomes practice. And you get to stop being in perpetual seeking and second guessing and never arriving.  All of the things that waste a TON of energy.

The truth is that we actually block our manifesting when:

• We don’t know what we want
• We haven't made a decision about it or claimed it
• We look at our circumstances and decide we can’t have it
